Dr. Vineet Gandhi was adjudged as an outstanding reviewer at the 39th International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML-2022) held at Baltimore, Maryland from 17 – 23 July.

Prof. Vasudeva Varma received a Research Award of USD 20,000 from Google for research in Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML).
Prof. Ashok Kumar Das has been appointed as an Associate Editor of IEEE Systems Journal and has also been appointed as an Editor (Technical Committee), Computer Communications (Elsevier).
Dr. Deva Priyakumar has been awarded the prestigious Chemical Research Society of India, Bangalore (CRSI) Bronze medal for the year 2021 in recognition of his contributions to research in chemistry.
Prof. Madhava Krishna and Dr. Vineet Gandhi’s team won the Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship (QIF) India 2020 – 2021 for their innovation – Language-Based Navigation with Object Referenced Spatiotemporal Constraints in Autonomous Driving. The student members of this team are Unni Krishnan R Nair and Nivedita Rufus. The fellowship includes a cash prize of Rs.10 lakhs.
