IIIT Hyderabad team – The Third I won a hackathon on IoT for Smart City on 11 January at Panaji. The team proposed a low cost IoT solution for indoor pollution monitoring. A prize is a fully paid trip by EU to attend a leading startup event in Europe.
IIITH ranked 11th among 373 institutions in Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA-2020) Rankings in the self-finance universities category.
Dataquest’s T-School Survey 2020 has ranked IIITH among the top 3 institutions in India and top 1 in South Zone. This annual survey evaluates the performance of Tech schools in the country based on four parameters (commonly known as the PACE scale): Placements (40%), Academic Environment (30%), Campus and Infrastructure (Physical and Digital) (15%), Engagement and Outreach (15%).
Education World’s annual survey ranks IIITH number 1 in key parameters including faculty competence, curriculum and pedagogy, industry interface, and placements record.
