IIIT Hyderabad Basketball team were Runner-up at the intercollegiate tournament held at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Madhapur from 2 to 3 February. Team members were Revanth Gundam, Atharv Johar, Sriram Alluri, Aadarsh Raghunathan, Aniketh Atmakuri, Amogh Tiwari, Ashwin Rudraraju, Sudarshan Nikhil and Janardan. The Team Tateists of Astronomy Club won the first prize in an inter-college Astronomy competition organised by IIT Patna. The competition had three rounds – a quiz, a SpaceX simulator challenge to dock a shuttle to the ISS, and a challenge to identify habitable exoplanets from a database of 10,000 exoplanets. The team members Shreyas Badami, UG2-CND and Pranav Agrawal, UG2-CSE topped all the rounds of the competition and finished with a perfect score in the final round.
