The 7th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) witnessed a remarkable moment as the Honorable Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi, virtually presented IIIT Hyderabad with the prestigious 5G Lab Award. This recognition marked a significant achievement for the institute, securing its place among the top 100 institutes in India. IIITH is among the three top institutes selected from the state of Telangana.

The National Digital Library of India (NDLI) has recognised IIITH as one of the best performing NDLI clubs in Telangana for its outstanding performance and unwavering dedication in promoting knowledge and learning through the National Digital Library of India. As a token of appreciation and encouragement, NDLI has presented an Appreciation Certificate to IIIT Hyderabad.

According to The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings IIIT Hyderabad is in the 601-800 bracket. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024 included 1,904 universities across 108 countries and regions. The rankings are based on WUR 3.0 methodology, which included 18 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across five areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.
