Research Teaser Internship
Research Teasers are one-month internship programs which aim at enhancing the employability skills of a student by giving him/her the basic concepts of a particular research area along with practical solutions and applicability as well. The areas are selected according to the market requirements, keeping in mind the current technology advancements. These one-month internships also have a project factor involved, in which the students are supposed to make use of all the knowledge converting into practical applications.
Completed Internships
Research Teaser Internship – IoT
Research Teaser Internship – Speech Processing
Research Teaser Internship – Cybersecurity A one-month internship program on IoT concepts and standards, in association with Conduira Online. The program boasts on providing first-hand experience in building an IoT system for a practical problem using sensors/actuators, microcontroller boards and knowledge of some basic IoT protocols along with knowledge on how to leverage OneM2M standard for IoT applications.
A one-month internship program on speech processing and speech recognition systems building, in association with Conduira Online. The broad goal of speech processing is to make human-machine interaction as natural as possible. Applications such as Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant etc. are famous as they respond to speech inputs.
A one-month internship program, in association with Conduira Online, designed to ensure that the participants get hands-on experience of the industry grade technologies in the field of cybersecurity. The internship will focus mainly on software defined networks (SDN), IoT and Blockchain Technology.
Student Remote Internship Program
Remote Digital Internship Program SRIP is designed to bridge the gap existing between academic learning and the application of that learning in industry settings. Students would be mentored to use industry relevant technologies while contributing to open-source repositories.
RDIP, in association with Conduira Online, is a one-month internship program and open to all pursuing or have completed graduation with willingness to program. The program provides resources and mentoring mechanism to learn and contribute to open-source projects on Github.

Research Master Class
Research Master Class is a 2-3 days short focused workshop program which targets a specific research area and introduces to the participants, the concepts and allied technical aspects of that area. The philosophy behind this program is to interest the students towards research and development.
Completed Workshops
Research Master Class – 3D Computer Vision
RMC is a short (2-3 days) focused workshop on a specific technology area, to introduce the underlying concepts and allied technology platforms in that area. The objective is to excite engineering students in emerging technologies to pursue deep-tech research and to be helpful as an experience for the students to go for better career opportunities.
Pilot workshop was conducted on 3D Computer Vision in February 2020.
Upcoming Workshops
Research Master Class – IoT Research Master Class – Speech Processing Research Teaser Internship – Cybersecurity RMC is a short (2-3 days) focused workshop on IoT. This workshop immediately follows the Research Teaser Internship- IoT program. The best performers from the internship will get a chance to visit the IIITH campus, interact with the professors and get to know the research works in and around the research area.
