Prof. Vishal Garg has been appointed as Project Committee Voting Member (PCVM) in the Standing Standard Project Committee (SSPC) 90.2 – Energy Efficient Design of Low-Rise Residential Buildings of The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Prof. Garg will be serving on the lighting subcommittee. This appointment is for 4 years starting 1 July 2021.
Prof. K S Rajan has been co-opted to the Tech sub-committee of the Geospatial Data Promotion and Development Committee headed by the Principal Scientific Adviser in pursuant of the new National Geospatial data policy.

This award is given to a member of the PAKDD community who has made outstanding service contributions to the PAKDD, through organizational efforts, resulting in making PAKDD conferences successful and has taken exceptional leadership and responsibility towards his/her tasks.
