Sunil Kumar Maddigatla (Master of Science student) and Dr. Srivatsava Jandhyala, Center for VLSI and Embedded Systems Technology (CVEST), were awarded Best Paper Award for their paper An Accurate CMOS Integrated Temperature Sensor for IOT Applications at IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI), Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USA.

Drushti Apoorva and Prof. Radhika Mamidi, Natural Language Processing – Machine Translation (NLP-MT) won the best student paper award for their paper – BolLy: Annotation of Sentiment Polarity in Bollywood Lyrics Dataset at the 15th International Conference of the Pacific Association for Computational Linguistics (PACLING), in Myanmar during 16 – 18 August.
