IIIT Undergraduate students along with Dr. Karthik Vaidhyanthan bagged the best poster award at ICSA 2024 held at IIIT Hyderabad from 4 to 8 June 2024. The poster was based on the research work done by Hiya Bhatt, Shrikara A, Adyansh Kakran and Karthik Vaidhyanthan on Towards Architecting Sustainable MLOps: A Self-Adaptation Approach.

Research on Shared-Memory Parallel Algorithms for Community Detection in Dynamic Graphs by Subhajit Sahu working with Prof. Kishore Kothapalli; and Prof. Dip Sankar Banerjee, IIT Jodhpur was awarded the APDCM Outstanding Paper award at 26th Workshop on Advances in Parallel and Distributed Computational Models (APDCM) held from 27 to 30 May at San Francisco, California held in conjunction with 38th IEEE International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium (IPDPS 2024).

Prof. K S Rajan is one of the jury members for selecting grand finale winners of Bhartiya Antariksh Hackathon (BAH). The hackathon is being organized as part of National Space Day – 2024 celebrations. Secretary, DOS/Chairman, ISRO launched the BAH programme on 4 July in the area of geospatial domain, space science, image processing and AI/ML. The programme is open for UG, PG and Ph.D students in India.
