Applications for two SRF positions are invited for a DST collaborative project involving Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, GIS and Remote Sensing.
This position will be based at Lab for Spatial Informatics Research Centre under the guidance of Prof. Rehana Shaik and Prof. K. S. Rajan. Project work will involve, but not limited to, working, and developing on Decision Support System (DSS) and software development, IOT based system for Realtime Water Quantity and Quality Management of Rivers, including field experiments.
Selected candidate is expected to contribute to the above-mentioned project and carry out research requirements including publishing and presenting research findings in related journals and conferences.
senior PhD (or) PhD in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, Remote Sensing, Spatial Informatics) with strong mathematical and analytical skills. Expertise in GIS data handling, WebGIS technologies and programming languages like Python is desirable.
