SiliconIndia Ranks IIIT-H's B Tech (ECE) Top 2 in India
IIIT-H has been ranked Top 6 and Top 2 respectively for B Tech (CSE) and B Tech (ECE) courses in India, by SiliconIndia, a popular online and print IT magazine in India. The survey was carried out in May 2012.
The methodology employed is simple. Current compensation of graduates who passed out from CSE, ECE, or Mechanical Engineering programs, five years ago – that is in 2007 – was used to rank colleges, across the three programs.

Deccan Chronicle Ranks IIIT-H Top 2 in Southern India
Just a couple of weeks ago, the Deccan Chronicle ranked IIIT-H Top 2 among engineering colleges in Southern India, in a survey limited to the southern states. The survey, conducted in May 2012, placed IIIT-H behind IIT Madras.
