Dr. Neelima Satyam Selected for JSPS Invitation Fellowship for Research (Short-term)

Dr. Neelima Satyam, Assistant Professor with IIIT-H's Earthquake Engineering Research Centre (EERC), was selected for the Japan Society for Promotion of Science's Invitation Fellowship for Research (Short term).
Dr. Neelima will spend 60 days carrying out collaborative research at the University of Tokyo from the end of Jan to end of March in 2013.
JSPS Invitation Fellowship for Research in Japan
The JSPS Invitation Fellowship for Research in Japan (Short Term) is offered to promote international scientific cooperation and exchange. It allows researchers employed at designated Japanese research institutions and laboratories to invite fellow researchers from other countries to Japan for short periods of time to participate in discussions, attend seminars, give lectures, or perform similar duties at their institutions.
Researchers, senior scientists, and university professors with an excellent record of research achievements and who are employed full-time at an overseas research institution are invited for the fellowships.
