About the Program

Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary approach to study mind and behaviour by embracing artificial intelligence, psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, philosophy, and anthropology. Cognitive science is playing an increasingly important role in understanding human behavior, especially when interfaced with technology.

Students in the B.Tech, Master of Science and PhD programs in CSE or ECE in IIIT-H can also do a thesis in Cognitive Science. The research is expected to be of sufficient quality to be publishable in leading international journals and top conferences pertaining to the area of research.

We have state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities like Tobii Eye Tracker, Emotiv EEG, physiology monitoring devices from BioNomadix and Thought Technology, VR and access to high performance
