Application of PMUs for Power System Islanding
A project undertaken as a requirement for the completion of the course on "Power System Protection" taken up in the duration December 2008 - April 2009. The implementation includes the study of the effect of PMUs on islanding in a power system network. -
Price Forecasting
The project was aimed at studying the area of price forecasting in a deregulated power system. The detailed study of the effect of power system characteristics and their influence on the price of the electricity, the market structure and the demand elasticity.
