Career objective
I am looking for a challenging role where my academic research expertise could be mapped to solve real world problems in Privacy Preserving Computational Geometry and related areas.

Education

  • MS by Research (CSE), IIIT-Hyderabad, 2009 (expected); 7.2
  • B.Tech(CSE), DAIICT, 2007; 66.75 %
  • Class 12, Vikas Vidyalayam Junior College, Visakhapatnam (BIE May, 2002) , 92.7 %
  • Class 10, Timpany School, Visakhapatnam (ICSE March, 2000) , 86.7 %

Primary Research & MS Thesis

  • My contributions to research have been mostly towards Automated Text Summarization. We have been working on identifying potential problems with current approaches to text summarization. In a recent publication we had come up with the argument that at the task of query-focused multi-document summarization most of the current systems are being query-biased to improve performance based on content overlap metrics.
  • In another related work, we have built a simple position baseline based summarization algorithm that performs very well at the update summarization task. We argue that such a high performance baseline algorithm would be useful in tracking progress on the problem.
  • We have been working on certain aspects of language modeling to focus on updating an update summary with novel information.
  • Very recently, I have been working on certain aspects of Summarization Evaluation keeping myself under the guidelines of TAC AESOP task
