Career Objective

Having learnt how to approach problems during three years of research, I am looking for a job opportunity where I can learn and build applications in a large scale industry.

3D Specular Object Reconstruction

• Local Language News Website

  (ITWS Project, CVIT, IIIT-H.)(Team of size: 2)
  Aim : Goal is to build a website in which news from various local language news websites is automatically downloaded and updated time to time. (For telugu, hindi and malayalam languages).

• Silhouette based human pose estimation
  Advisors: Dr. Anoop Namboodiri
  (Summer Project 2007, CVIT, IIIT-H.)(Team of size: 2)
  Aim : Estimating the pose of a person based on his silhouette. To train the system from a video with various silhouette poses and recognize the new pose image of the person. Reference paper “Articulated Pose Estimation in a Learned Smooth Space of Feasible Solutions” by Tai-Peng Tian, Rui Li and Stan Sclaroff.
  Technologies Used : Matlab, C++, OpenCV.
  
  
• Iris based Human Authentication
  Advisors: Dr. Anoop Namboodiri
  (Honors Project I, CVIT, IIIT-H.)(Team of size: 1)
  Aim : Explore the research so far in iris based human authentication and Build a system which can be trained based on the images in the database and authenticate people from their iris images.
  Technologies Used : Matlab.
  
  
• Automated reduction of flash bouncing effect in images
  Advisors: Dr. Jayanthi Sivaswamy
  (Course Project, CVIT, IIIT-H.)(Team of size 2)
  Aim : When you take a picture with a flash, due to the presence of reflective objects in images, flash bounces back making image look unpleasant. Aim is to automatically detect and remove/reduce the noise created by the flash.
  Technologies Used : Matlab, C++, OpenCV
  
  
• Specular Object Reconstruction
  Advisors: Dr. Anoop Namboodiri
  (Honors Project, CVIT, IIIT-H)
  Aim: A known pattern is projected on to the screen and its reflection in the 3D object is captured using CCD camera in various directions. Aim is to reconstruct the 3D object from these images.
