Research Projects
* Large scale mdmv visualizations (Advisor: Prof. P.J.Narayanan)
Data sets pertaining to domains like weather, stock markets, gene expression, video analysis are very huge, both in
terms of number of records and dimensionality. We look at ways of visualizing such data for better analysis and understanding.
* Multiple object tracking for HCI
This work aims at tracking multiple objects in high resolution videos in real-time. To enable this, we apply relatively
parallel tracking algorithms on a CUDA enabled graphics card. Various HCI application domains are explored.
* Rendering data intensive models (Advisor: Prof. P.J.Narayanan)
One of the primary aims is to manage the data-intensive models and render them efficiently for real time usages.
At present, a huge area of terrain is rendered in real-time to visualize the information.
