Primary Research & MS Thesis

Title : Numerical Study of Buried Continuous Pipeline Subjected to Large Ground Deformation

3D finite element model were developed for buried pipeline using MATLAB. The study includes the performance evaluation of pipeline crossing dip-slip faults and subjected to compression, which were less studied in past. Both large deformation and Material nonlinearity are incorporated in the code. The advanced non-linear solution technique like Arc Length method and MATLAB parallelization toolkit is also employed in the developed code.
