Projects

  • Reporting Pairs of Intersecting Simple Polygons
    December 2006 –March2007
Course project in Computational Geometry; the project involved developing an algorithm for detecting simple polygon intersection. The problem is given a set S of simple polygons with a total of n vertices, report all pairs of polygons (a, b) such that a intersects b. Presented an efficient algorithm for the constraint case in which the number of sides of any simple polygon is bounded by some constant.
  • Parallelize Applied Element Method for Structural Analysis Problem
    December 2006 – March2007
Course project in Multi-core Architecture; parallelized the given structural analysis problem (FORTRAN program) to calculate different parameters like stress and strain when load is applied to particular object at particular point using MPI.
  • Multi-Agent based load balancing in CMP
    December 2007 – March2008
Abstract: Course project in Multi-Agent System; A Multi-agent-based approach to make the thermal profile more balanced for the chip-multiprocessors (CMPs) and extended Distributed MultiAgent Simulation Framework (DMSF) for multi-core system so that load can be distributed on different cores of multi-core system.
  • Resource - reservation visualization and conflict resolution tool for MASD/SAMD model
    December 2004 - April 2005
RRVCRT is Resource Reservation Visualization and Conflict-Resolution Tool. Grid Resources require resource reservation and aim is to generate resource reservation sequence of SAMD/MASD model and resolving conflict if any.
