Eligibility Criteria

1. Five Year Dual-Degree Program of B.Tech in Computer Science and MS by Research in Computational Natural Sciences.

1. The student must have been selected for the Indian national team or have undergone a training camp or an orientation camp at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education for any of the Olympiads mentioned below, or should be an NTSE or KVPY scholar.

    a. International Physics Olympiad
   b. International Chemistry Olympiad
   c. International Biology Olympiad
   d. International Astronomy Olympiad
   e. International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics
   f.  International Earth Science Olympiad 

2. The student must complete Class XII / Intermediate or its equivalent in the year 2010 or 2011.

2. Five Year Dual-Degree Program of B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and MS by Research in Computer Science.

1. The student must have been selected for the Indian national team or have undergone a training camp or an orientation camp at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education for any of the Olympiads mentioned below, or should be an NTSE or KVPY scholar.

a. International Olympiad in Informatics

b. International Mathematical Olympiad

2. The student must complete Class XII / Intermediate or its equivalent in the year 2010 or 2011.

3. Five Year Dual-Degree Program of B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and MS by Research in Electronics and Communication.

   1. The student must have been selected for the Indian national team or have undergone a training camp or an orientation camp at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education for any of the Olympiads mentioned below, or should be an NTSE or KVPY scholar

   a. International Mathematical Olympiad

   2. The student must complete Class XII / Intermediate or its equivalent in the year 2010 or 2011.

4. Five Year Dual-Degree Program of B.Tech in Computer Science and MS by Research in Exact Humanities
   

   1. The student must have been selected for the Indian national team or have undergone a training camp or an orientation camp at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education for any of the Olympiads mentioned below,or should be an NTSE or KVPY scholar

   a. NTSE (Social Sciences)
   

   
   

   2. The student must complete Class XII / Intermediate or its equivalent in the year 2010 or 2011.

Students have to apply through institute's portal:

1. Name of the student

2. Date of birth

3. Class XI and XII / Intermediate percentage and year of passing

4. Postal address

The application has to be sent to Admissions Incharge (DA), International Institute of Information Technology, Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 500 032, along with copies of the following certificates.

• Attested copy of Class X and XII certificates (in case a certificate is not available, send copy of marks sheet)

• Attested copy of the applicable KVPY/NTSE/Olympiad Awards/Topper of 10+2 certificate

• Two recommendation letters from teachers or academicians

• A copy of the report of any research project carried out as part of the Special Award

Last date for receipt of application with all enclosures is 22 June 2011

Application Process :

 APPLICATION FEE

A demand draft of Rs. 1200/- drawn in favor of “International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad”, payable at Hyderabad has to be sent along with the application.

 SELECTION PROCESS

The selection will be through a written exam and (or) an interview at IIIT, Hyderabad on 15 July 2011

Acceptance of Seat Allotment :

Last date for acceptance of seat allotment is 27 July 2011 (by paying initial fee of Rs 25000)

Cancellation of Accepted Seat Alloted :

No refund is made if the student cancels the  accepted seat allotment

Syllubus for written examination :

 Physics and Chemistry at 12th standard level and of Maths (or) Biology at 10th standard level.
