UG Direct Admissions for Students of Abroad (DASA 2013)

 

Application Process :

Application Form will be available in http://web2py.iiit.ac.in/dasa from 1st April 2013

Filled in Application form is to be submitted online only

Last date for receipt of online filled in application is 25th May 2013, 11 AM [IST]

Announcement of results will be on 1st June 2013 , 5 PM [ Tentative ]
 

Application Fee :

$ 100 ( Hundred dollars )  ( INR 5,500 ) to be submitted through Credit Card only while submitting the online application.

  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and MS by Research in CSE ( CSD )
  • B.Tech in Electronics and Communications and Engineering and MS by Research in ECE ( ECD )
  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Masters in Computational Natural Science ( CND )
  • B.Tech in Building Science and Engineering (BSE) and MS by Research in BSE ( BSD )

Stipulated Number of Seats:

  • CSE/CSD/ECE/ECD/CND/BSD - total 25

Selection Process :

Applicants should have studied 11th and 12th or equivalent outside India, (or) Must be a foreign passport holder. Further, a minimum of 2000 SAT Subject Score (Physics+Chemistry+Mathematics II) [earlier known as SAT-II].  It is recommended that they take AP Calculus course, AP Physics or AP Chemistry course. The candidates will be selected based on SAT II scores, and an interview as decided by the admissions committee

The Institute code is 6997 for directly sending your SAT score cards to the Institute.

 

Tution Fee :

US $ 11,000 per annum for the Academic year 2013 - 14. Hostel and Mess fee extra.

Acceptance of Seat Allotment :

The candidates who have been selected for admission have to give a e-mail confirmation to dasaadmissions@iiit.ac.in on or before 15th June 2013.

Payment of initial fees:

Candidate who have been allotted a seat should confirm the acceptance of seat allotment by paying the tuition fee on or before 15th June 2013. The payment of tuition fee USD 5,500 ( or equivalent in INR of Rs. 3,15,000 ) should be through Cashiers Cheque or Demand Draft in favour of IIIT,Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad, India. [ No personal cheques ]

At the time of registration, candidates need to pay (approximately INR 40,000 ) for caution deposit, hostel fees, mess deposit, etc., the details of which will be sent later.
