ALL Deadlines are on and including that date. All time deadlines are 10PM Indian Standard Time on the deadline date announced.

Programmes:    CSE, ECE, CSD, ECD, CND and BSD

Eligibility:            Students should take JEE (Main) - 2013 and must separately apply for IIIT-H counseling. Admissions are on the basis of the marks in JEE (Main).

Number of seats: 210 [CSE-80, ECE-40, CSD-35, ECD-25, BSD-15, CND-15]

   Phase II: 3 June 2013 (Filling of JEE (Main) marks along with program preferences)

Portal Closes on: Phase I: 25 June 2013 (Tuesday)

   Phase II: 27 June 2013 (Thursday)

Criteria of selection: JEE (Main) marks

First tie breaker:        Mathematics marks

Second tie breaker:   Physics marks

Third tie breaker:       Chemistry marks

Note: A minimum of 60% or above marks in Class XII is required to be admitted to the program. XIIth marks carry no weightage in the selection of the applicant.

Announcement of results, acceptance, continuation in further rounds:

Round 1:

1a. Applicants who are Offered a seat in Round I:

• To accept the seat, pay Counseling fee of Rs. 10,000 and Tuition Fee of Rs. 80,000 by 8 July 2013. Join the institute on 27 July 2013.

• Applicant who do not accept the seat by 8 July 2013. He/she will be out of counseling and shall not be considered for further rounds.

1b. Applications who are Not offered seat in Round 1:

• To continue in further counseling rounds, pay Rs. 10,000 towards Counseling fee and an additional amount of Rs. 10,000 towards Tuition Fee Advance by 8 July 2013.

• Applicants who do not pay above amount will not be considered for further counseling rounds.

1c. Cancellation of admission of Round 1:

• After payment of fee, if Applicant for any reason wants to cancel their seat, must inform us at the earliest possible time. In such case refund of fee will be given depending on the date of intimation of cancellation:

Round 2:

2a. Applicants who are Offered a seat in Round 2:

• To accept the seat, pay the remaining Tuition Fee i.e., Rs. 70,000 by 15 July 2013.

• Those Applicants do not accept the seat by 15 July 2013 will be out of counseling and shall not be considered for further rounds.

2b. Applicants who were Not offered a seat in Round 2:

• To continue or to withdraw from further counseling rounds, Applicant has to express the willingness on 11 July 2013.

• Applicant who express willingness to continue will be considered for further rounds.

• Applicants who express willingness to withdraw will get the refund of Tuition Fee Advance of Rs. 10,000.

• Applicant who do not express will not be considered for further rounds and will forfeit Tuition Fee Advance paid.

2c. Cancellation of admission of Round 2:

• After payment of fee, if Applicant for any reason wants to cancel their seat, must inform us at the earliest possible time. In such case refund of fee will be given depending on the date of intimation of cancellation:

Round 3:

3a. Applicants who are Offered seat in Round 3:

• To accept the seat, pay the remaining Tuition Fee i.e., Rs. 70,000 by 22 July 2013.

• Applicant do not accept the seat by 22 July 2013 will be out of counseling and shall not be considered for further rounds.

• After payment of fee, if Applicant for any reason want to cancel, must inform us before 24 July 2013. In such case Applicant will get Rs. 70,000 as refund. And if Applicant informs us after 24 July, a refund will be given as per the table below.

3b. Applicants who are Not offered seat in Round 3:

• To continue or to withdraw from further counseling rounds, Applicant has to express the willingness on 18 July 2013.

• Applicant who express willingness to continue will be considered for further rounds.

• Applicant who express willingness to withdraw will get the refund of Tuition Fee Advance of Rs. 10,000.

• Applicant who do not express anything will not be considered for further rounds and will forfeit Tuition Fee Advance paid.

3c. Cancellation of admission of Round 3:

• After payment of fee, if Applicant for any reason wants to cancel their seat, must inform us at the earliest possible time. In such case refund of fee will be given depending on the date of intimation of cancellation:

Round 4:

4a. Applicants who are Offered seat in Round 4:

• To accept the seat, pay the remaining Tuition Fee i.e., Rs. 70,000 by 27 July 2013.

• After payment of fee, if Applicant for any reason want to cancel, must inform us before 28 July 2013 [12:00 noon]. In such case Applicant will get Rs. 50,000 as refund. And if Applicant informs us after 27 July, NO REFUND will be given.

4b. Applicants who are Not offered seat in Round 4:

• Tuition Fee Advance will be given back to Applicant by mid of August 2013.

4c. Cancellation of admission of Round 4:

• NO REFUND for cancellation of seat offered in Round 4.

5. APPLICANTS REFUND AMOUNTS WHEN THEY CANCEL ACCEPTED SEAT
